After extensive searching and hundreds of suppliers later, we found people who share the same values, who appreciate their craft and respect not only their final product but everything in between.

A low cost garment that catches your eye may have a story of sadness behind it, a story that often goes unnoticed because we tend to ignore the people behind the sewing machines who make these items for less and less pay so the companies stay competitive in the market. Cheap doesn't always mean "good"! We firmly believe that you cannot build something good on the unhappiness of others!

It's sad and unfair to be part of their suffering when we can choose to inform ourselves, respect the people behind the sewing machines, and their hard work, and not remain indifferent to their stories, choosing consciously. Let's not remain indifferent to the tons of clothes piling up in textile waste mountains.

We have made a conscious decision to not turn a blind eye, but rather to inform ourselves and make choices that respect people, animals, and the planet. We do this from the sourcing of our materials to the finished product. We chose to use plant-based fibers like organic cotton that's grown without pesticides or toxic substances that harm the earth or humans, thereby promoting and supporting biodiversity.

We collaborate only with authorized suppliers who have certifications for fabrics like BTI "Better Cotton Initiative", GOTS "Global Organic Textile Standard", "Cotton USA" for superior net cotton, "SA8000" for worker protection, "The Chemical Management Protocol 4sustainability" for ensuring that the entire manufacturing process is free of harmful and toxic chemicals, and MRSL ZDHC. Using Eco-Friendly systems for fabric production not only involves the chemical process but also significantly reduces carbon emissions and water consumption.

The choices we make every day influence our future, which is why at Vidin Was Taken, we choose to be sustainable, ecological, positive, ethical, and moral. We want to make a change because we believe in people's abilities and reasoning, because we love what we do and want to add value. We all know that change doesn't happen overnight, but with proper information and understanding of the repercussions of our actions, we are confident that it will happen, starting with two people who share a common vision, a small step, but one that's incredibly important to us.
